Barbara Duncan, Founder and CEO, "Let me...Organize"

Barbara DuncanSince I can remember, I have always had a passion for Organizing.

Growing up in a family in which I was the middle child of seven siblings, I had to claim my space. Of course, unlike my siblings, my space was always the most organized! I was always arranging and/or designing a systematic pattern for placing and keeping up with all of my stuff. To my siblings' surprise, it was also how I knew instantly when one of them had messed with my things. Everything had a place and everything was in its place. Always.

Realizing my unique flair and love for organizing, I found ways to incorporate my talent into the gifts that I would give to my family and friends. Those with various organizing challenges started asking me to help de-clutter and design solutions for their homes and lives. I called it "My Labor of Love". At that time, I had no idea that the skills that I possessed and the life-changing results I had helped many achieve, was that of a "Professional Organizer".

After working 13 years in leadership positions at a major packing and shipping company, in 2005, I decided to focus my natural talents and industry experience and created "Let me...Organize".

Since then, "Let me...Organize" has grown into a multipurpose organizing and consulting firm focusing on residential spaces in the San Francisco Bay area.

Clients we work with often have so much clutter they cannot see what is under it, and have forgotten about many of the things they cannot see. They have no idea where or how to start organizing such a space. Look at my Solutions page and you will see what I mean.

We have talented, hardworking, competent clients who have just become overwhelmed by paper, deadlines, interruptions, and who simply do not have enough time in their day. Recognizing that things are out of balance and looking for help is a great step towards getting organized and creating more time.

I am passionate about helping my clients. To be able to see their feelings of anxiety disappear as we transform their space from resembling a jigsaw puzzle to an organized space that fits their lifestyle is gratifying.

I see clutter as a jigsaw puzzle. It's overwhelming, accumulating and waiting for just the right solution to emerge.

Let me...help put your clutter in the right place.
